The stately castle hotel belongs to an ensemble that was originally laid out in the 16th century as a manor. Hohenhaus is located behind a majestic wrought-iron gate in the middle of a large park, which was built at the turn of the century by the Berlin garden architect Martin Bertrams was laid out in Victorian style. You walk through the valley under magnificent beech trees, lime trees and tulip trees. The landscape garden flows smoothly into the 1,200 hectares of forest and agricultural land that belong to the Hohenhaus estate and hotel.
